6 Beauty Tools That You Must Avoid Sharing

Germs and bacteria spread not only by physical touch but can also be spread by sharing personal items, especially beauty tools. These are some beauty tools that you must avoid sharing with others. You might get some infection or the other. You need not blame the person whose tool you use, because sometimes they themselves might not be aware of the infection they suffer from.

  • Makeup-This is the most obvious beauty tool that you must not share. Makeup brushes can transfer bacteria and other infections from one person to another. It goes without saying that you should not share your lipstick, eye shadow, mascara etc…Trying on makeup at department stores is a definite ‘No-no’. Little do we know of the number of people that have used that makeup brush and what infections they suffered from?
  • Hair brush-We have all heard the rule of not sharing our hair brush with others since our childhood. You should definitely not share your hairbrush especially if you suffer from hair fall and dandruff. You might even catch some unwanted friends on your head (lice) by sharing someone else’s comb.Keep your hair brushes and combs clean and wash frequently using soap and water.
  • Razors-It’s not a good idea to share razors. Basically any device that can cause cuts and that can transfer disease is not a good thing to share. You risk the chance of getting serious infections and diseases such as Hepatitis C or even something as serious as AIDS.
  • Soap-Soap is a very intimate beauty tool. For hygienic reasons we should not share soaps with one another. The dirt from our skin also can get embodied on the soap and when we share such soaps with others and if we have got an infection then
  • Tweezers-You might not notice it but when you pull out hair, certain amounts of blood which might not even be visible to the naked eye. So don’t share these told unless you want to increase the chances of you getting a bacterial or other infection.
  • Nail Clippers-This tool might seem harmless. But there are always the chances of the spread of nail fungus or any other infection. An instance could occur where you accidently cut your finger and the blood hardens on the nail clipper. The same blood can cause an infection to the next person who uses it.

Prevention is better than cure. So avoid sharing these intimate tools unless you want to suffer from any possible infection or disease.
