The risk factors of heart diseases are

Apart from these, unhealthy lifestyles and genetic factors can also lead to developing heart diseases.

Heart Attack Symptoms in Women

Studies say women experience several symptoms before having a heart attack but most of them ignore it. Many think chest pain is the only symptom of heart attack, which is wrong as you can get a heart attack without chest pain.

Here are some of the possible heart attacks for women-

  • Body Pain

Body pain is one of the most common symptoms in women. Some women experience upper body pain without chest discomfort. The pain can be mostly in any part of your upper body, including arms, back, neck or jaw.

  • Shortness of Breath

Shortness of breath or trouble breathing without or without chest pain is another important heart attack symptom that many ignore. Shortness of breath is the common sign of a silent heart attack.

  • Stomach Problems

In some cases, stomach pain signals a heart attack. Many women confuse stomach problems with heartburn or stomach ulcer. The symptoms can differ from moderate pain to heavy pain. Vomiting, nausea, and indigestion are more likely associated with stomach problems.

  • Sweating

Excessive sweating is a good indicator of a heart attack. Women should pay attention to excessive sweating as it is one of the clear indications of a heart attack. Many women confuse this symptom with menopause.

  • Fatigue

70% of heart attack survivors experience unusual fatigue. Many women feel extremely tired without even doing any work.
