The human immune system produces natural antibodies called immunoglobulin, which help the body fight against infection and diseases. As per a study, petting a dog for only eighteen minutes raises the immunoglobulin level in people’s saliva. All types of filth and bacteria are brought in by pets. Humans who are exposed to this will build up immunity against the common cold and cough, becoming less allergic to it. Thus, pets boost immunity.
