1) Green Tea boosts metabolism
Most people who are on a diet or want to lose weight usually start drinking green tea.Study after study has shown that it can boost your body’s ability to burn fat, in turn helping you lose weight.
For best results you’ll want to make other dietary changes such as eating more protein and leafy greens and cutting out sugar.

2) Green tea kills bad cholesterol
This magic drink can help reduce all levels of cholesterol, including LDL (bad) cholesterol thereby reducing your risk of heart disease.

3) Green tea prevents some cancers
Research has shown that brewing a cup helps to reduce your risk of ovarian, breast, prostate or endometrial cancers. The research continues to be conducted on other types of cancers. For people who have already been diagnosed with cancer, green can slow the growth of these cancers too.

4) Green tea reduces blood sugar levels
Having too much glucose in the blood can lead to a number of health problems, including diabetes. Studies show that they can help in lowering blood sugar.

Doctors recommend drinking actual green tea instead of opting for its supplements.
