Researchers Found That COVID Outbreak Swept Earth 20K Years Ago!

According to recent research, it has been found that the COVID Outbreak has swept the earth

20,000 years ago and it left traces in the DNA of many peoples. Researchers say that they have found evidence of genetic adaptations to the coronavirus family of viruses in 42 genes on modern populations in regions like Vietnam, China, and Japan.

More than 20,000 years ago, a coronavirus may have swept across East Asia, leaving traces in the DNA of people in modern China, Japan, and Vietnam. Based on the study, there has been a discussion about the evidence of genetic adaptation to the coronavirus family of viruses in 42 genes in modern populations in these areas.

So far, the COVID-19 pandemic, caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, has resulted in over 3.8 million deaths and billions of dollars in economic losses worldwide. The researchers urged the WHO to find the origin of coronavirus. The coronavirus family also includes the related MERS and SARS viruses, both of which have caused deadly outbreaks in the last 20 years.

Pandemics have occurred in the past. In the twentieth century alone, three influenza virus variants caused widespread outbreaks that killed millions: the “Spanish Flu” of 1918-20, the “Asian Flu” of 1957-58, and the “Hong Kong Flu” of 1968-69.

The ancient migrations that took our forefathers from Africa to the rest of the world would have exposed them to new pathogens. These ancient viral encounters, like many other environmental challenges, may have triggered adaptations that helped our ancestors survive. These adaptations could have included physiological or immunological changes that increased resistance to infection or reduced the disease’s health consequences.

The team discovered the role of a VIP (virus-interacting protein), which are proteins that are part of the cellular machinery and interact with viruses that enter the body. Natural selection has resulted in the fixation of gene variants encoding virus-interacting proteins (VIPs) at three times the rate observed for other classes of genes over millions of years of human evolution.
