We all know that Bluetooth radiation is harmful and does that mean the wireless device is harmful too? The Internet is all about the cons of the latest technologies like wireless devices and wireless headphones. And the headlines are all about the warnings that these wireless devices are a source of cancer. Before you freak out too much, get to know the real facts through our blog.
A few days ago, a group of scientists signed a petition to the World Health Organization(WHO) and the United Kingdom by expressing their serious concern regarding the risk associated with electromagnetic fields emitted from wireless devices.
The Electromagnetic field is also known as the EM field. Electromagnetic Field is generated when charged particles like electrons are accelerated. All electrically charged particles are surrounded by electric fields. The charged particles in motion produce magnetic energy, and when the velocity of the charged particles changes, an ElectroMagnetic field is produced.
According to the scientists, some reports show electromagnetic fields generated by wireless devices like smartphones, cell phone towers, laptops, wifi, Bluetooth headphones, and AirPods can affect human, animal, and plants lives. Children of this generation are especially more susceptible to the effects of wireless devices and electromagnetic fields.
Based on the petition by scientists, the risks associated with electromagnetic fields are
Even Though wireless devices are harmful to humans and other living organisms, they do not cause the following health risks.
There have been false accusations regarding the above-mentioned causes. There is no evidence regarding the effects caused by Electromagnetic fields.
According to the report, the World Health Organization (WHO) has called many nations to adopt their guidelines on electromagnetic field exposure levels from the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection. This law came to the amendment because these guidelines “do not cover long-term exposure and low-intensity effects, they are insufficient to protect public health.”
The World Health Organization calls for the United Nations Environmental Program to organize an independent multidisciplinary committee to evaluate the alternatives for the current practices that could reduce the exposure to electromagnetic fields caused by wireless devices.
