5 Ways to Stay Physically Active during Self-Quarantine

Several cases of COVID-19 are being reported around the world. Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, many parts of the world are under lockdown. The government has ordered everyone to stay at home and quarantine themselves. It would not be easy for us to stay physically active throughout the day during self-quarantine. So here we are with some tips to stay physically active during self-quarantine.

1. Exercise.

Sweat it all out. At this point, it might not be possible for us to go to gyms and workout but there are some exercises that can we can do at home. You can use the stairs, run up and down. It’s a great cardio workout. There are other workouts that can be done from home: push-ups, jumpings jacks, squats, etc. Exercising every day can improve your muscle strength and can boost your energy. It helps you to get rid of all the toxins inside your body and keeps your mind alert.

2. Dancing.

One does not have to be a professional when it comes to dancing. Whenever you feel exhausted, just move your body in the air with ease. Do not concentrate on the dance moves, just let your body float in the air and do wonders. It will bring out your confidence, it boosts energy levels and helps you stay physically active.

3. Aerobics/Zumba.

 If you love dancing and want to carry it out professionally then you can choose Zumba or Aerobics. Zumba is a dance that involves working out and Aerobics involves jumping, skipping, etc. there are so many Aerobics or Zumba classes available on the internet. You can choose your desired video and practice it. It will greatly boost your mood and energy and you will experience so much fun.

4. Take a Walk.

 Most of us are working from home so it would be exhausting to sit at home and stare at the computers for a long period. So it is really important to take a break. Take small walks in between. This will help you to relax and get more creative and puts you in a better mood. After a walk, you will surely feel more positive and productive about your work.

5. Do Some Chores.

Doing some house chores like cleaning, cooking will keep you engaged in an activity and also make you responsible and organized. During this self-quarantine period, offer some help with house chores, this will not only make you stay physically active but also to be more productive.
