Study Claims Zero Chances for Human Immortality!

If you think you can slow the ageing process ,you are wrong. Humans can not cheat ageing or death. People have no chances for immortality, says the new study.

Many artists, philosophers and scientists have been obsessed with human immortality. But we all know no matter how much we earn,we have to face death one day. Even if people escape from accidents or mortal disease, we are bound to die. A recent study discovered fresh evidence to prove  death is inevitable .

A Study Proves That There Is No Chance for Human Immortality

The research conducted by Fernando Colchero, the University of Southern Denmark and Susan Alberts, Duke University, North Carolina, includes scientists from 42 institutions across 14 countries. They provide new insights into the ageing theory “the invariant rate of ageing hypothesis,” which means every species has a fixed rate of ageing.

Fernando Colchero stated that human death cannot be avoided. No matter how many medicines we take, stay healthy or workout, people will age and die someday.

In this study, researchers examined the invariant rate of ageing hypothesis and combined an unprecedented wealth of data. They also observed births and deaths patterns on nine human populations with data of 30 non-human primate populations that include chimpanzees, gorillas and baboons who live in the zoos and the forests.

To learn about this hypothesis, researchers examined the connection between life and expectancy. They also found the average life expectancy for an individual in a population and lifespan equality that measures concentrated deaths among older ages.

The study concluded that, as life expectancy expands, so does human lifespan equality. If a lifespan is extremely high then most of the individuals in a population tend to die at the same age. Researchers observed lifespan in modern Sweden and Japan that is about 70s to 80s. But, in the 1800s lifespan equality was extremely low in these countries because deaths were less concentrated at old ages, which resulted in lower life expectancy.

Fernando Colchero further added, in several parts of the world, life expectancy has increased dramatically. However, it happened not because of the slow rate of ageing, the main reason is that they have more infants, kids and young people surviving, which boosts the average life expectancy.

The previous study demonstrated the regularity between life span equality and life expectancy among human populations, including pre-industrial European countries, hunter-gatherers, and modern industrialized countries.

Scientists also discovered that not only humans but also other species who lived in various environments had a longer life expectancy by reducing mortality and infant rates.

But this relationship is only possible if we reduce early mortality and not by decreasing the rate of ageing, stated Fernando Colchero.

In this study, researchers used mathematics and statistics to demonstrate that even a small change in the age rate would make a difference in the population.
