How to Spot People Who Suffer from Mental Issues?

What is Mental Issues?

Mental Issues or  Mental disease, also known as mental health disorders, encompasses a broad spectrum of mental disorders that can impair your mood, thought, and behaviour. Depression, nervous disorders, dementia, eating disorders, schizophrenia, and addictive habits are also examples of psychiatric diseases or mental illnesses. There are many individuals who suffer from mental health issues at times. When persistent signs and symptoms cause frequent depression and impair the capacity to work, a mental health condition becomes a mental disorder.

In recent days, you can’t tell how a person is affected mentally. There are numerous ways to affect one’s mind and mental health. Either it can be work pressure or due to the stress caused in oneself. Some people say that social media can also cause mental illness among children and adults.

Although social media began to stay in touch with friends and families recently, it has been developed into a common pastime enjoyed by people of all ages. One might think that they enjoy scrolling Instagram stories or Facebook feeds to pass their time but are you addicted to it? There is no official diagnosis for “mental issues” disorder. However, excessive use of mobile phones and the stress caused in schools and work is becoming more popular, and it may have significant consequences for your physical and mental health.

Recent research proves that engaging a lot on social media is very harmful and has negative effects on inducing mental illness. If you find yourself or someone with the following symptoms, then they are affected by mental issues.

  • Loss of concentration
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Isolation and loneliness
  • Social anxiety disorder
